Fumiko Nakamura

Fumiko Nakamura is the curator of Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art in Japan. She explores the relationship between the visual culture, especially the photography, and the contemporary art through exhibitions and research. Recent curatorial exhibitions include Photography will be (Aichi, Japan, 2014) . And she organized “APMoA Project, ARCH” series to nurture the young artists and represented Nobuaki Itoh, Yuki Iiyama, Yoichi Umetsu and Yosuke Bandai. In 2017, she curated the group exhibition Play in the Flow in Chiangmai, Thailand.

Nobuko Nakano

Neuroscientist, M.D., cognitive scientist. Professor, Higashi Nippon International University; Visiting Professor, Kyoto University of the Arts.
Born in Tokyo in 1975, Nakano graduated from the University of Tokyo’s Department of Applied Chemistry in 1998 and received her M.D. in neuroscience from the same university in 2008. After a spell as a post-doc researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique in France, she has been focusing on research and writing since 2010. She has been a member of the Mori Art Museum’s Board of Trustees since 2022 and is currently devoting herself to research and writing on the brain and psychology. Nakano is noted for her narrative approach to deciphering social phenomena and characters from a scientific perspective.

Naoko Seki

Professor at the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Sciences at Waseda University. As a curator for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo (1993-2020), she has been involved in the organization of exhibitions including Yuki Katsura: A Fable, Yoko Ono: From My Window, LandscapeYukihisa Isobe: Artist-Ecological Planner, and Kishio Suga: Situated Latency, as well as themed exhibitions including Moderns by the Sumida River, Weavers of WorldsA Century of Flux in Japanese Modern/Contemporary Art, and The Potentiality of Drawing. She is a contributor to several books, including Politics of Exhibition (Suiseisha), Museums in the Blues: Reconsidering Displays and Collections (Suiseisha), and Yoko Ono: The Sky Is Always Clear (Moscow Museum of Modern Art).

Rumika Nishida

Dance journalist / critic. Has been contributing articles to newspapers and magazines such as DANCEARTand Theatre Arts. Member of AICT, and co-director of the Maiboku no Kai. Co-authored publications include ”Future of Performing Arts from Quebec” (Sangen-sha), ”54 Chapters to Know About Quebec” ( Akashi-Shoten), and ”Modern Dance in the Theatre of War, Takaya Eguchi and Misako Miya’s Modern Dance Group Touring in the Battlefront (canta).

Mariko Nishitani

Mariko Nishitani is a fashion editor and writer born in 1950.Nishitani was an editor at Bunka Publishing Bureau for So-en, High Fashion since 1974 until compulsory retirement in 2011,was the Paris bureau correspondent in 1980-1982.She was the chief editor for High Fashion Online until 2012.Exhibition she co-curated : »Feel and Think :A New Era of Tokyo Fashion « at Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery(2011). She is the author and editor for several books on fashion, including « Fashion Begins to Talk, 2011 »,» Relativism of COMME des GARÇONS, 2012 ». She has worked as the professor of Kyoto Seika University,faculty of popular culture,fashion course in 2013-2023.

Nobi Hayashi

Consultant and journalist Nobi Hayashi has been reporting on the latest in digital technology since 1990, covering the popularization of computers and the internet and how digitalization has altered the way we work and live. Having come to the realization that technology alone cannot bring about abundance, Hayashi’s reporting, writing, consulting, event planning, and business development work now crisscrosses disciplines including technology, design, art, fashion, and education, with a focus on the values that ought to be preserved into the 22nd century. He has written several books and is a visiting professor at the Kanazawa College of Art. Hayashi is an outside director at Revolver Inc and a member of the Good Design Award jury.
