Takayuki Komuro

Music writer, radio DJ and university lecturer. Studied composing and musicology at Tokyo College of Music, and is currently involved particularly with classical music, contemporary music, jazz, and film music. He writes for a wide range of publications, including Intoxicate, Latina, Record Geijutsu, Bravo, and Kyoiku Ongaku, and has contributed to Jazz The New Chapter 5, given lectures at the New Japan Philharmonic’s regular Ruby concerts, written music commentary for major orchestras in Tokyo, and has a weekly 4-hour live show on the Ottava internet radio station.

Susumu Kunisaki

Born in 1963, Kunisaki is a director at Rittor Base. He has also been editor-in-chief of Sound & Recording Magazine, a specialist magazine for sound creators, for 20 years, and since 2010 has organized Premium Studio Live, a live recording event, all while operating a label for sharing these event recordings in a high-res format. He established the multi-use studio Rittor Base in 2018, actively engaging in innovative undertakings including “Touch that Sound!,” a sound installation exhibition that featured Sony’s Sonic Surf VR spatial acoustics technology, and a livestreaming event for binaural sound. Since 2021, he also serves as a non-executive director on the board of InterFM897 Co. Ltd.

Yurika Kuremiya

Researcher in the field of dance. Her main area of investigation is contemporary dance since the 2000s. Continuously engages also in research focusing on the organization and application of dance archives. Studied in France on a scholarship from the French government in 2015-2016, and received her master’s degree (science of art) from the Université Paris VIII. Has been involved in the productionof numerous dance performances and festivals, including Mikiko Kawamura’s performance of ”La fleur éclôt en enfer” in Paris. Member of the jury in “Dance-Ga-Mitai! Newcomer Series Vol.16 & 17.” Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (DC1). Is presently enrolled in a doctoral course at Waseda University, Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Sciences.

Tomoko Kuroiwa

Curator and coordinator. Lives and Works in Tokyo. Having worked as an assistant curator of Mori Art Museum, Tokyo (2001-9), she then moved to New Delhi India between 2009-18. While in India, she coordinated and researched for numerous projects. Worked as a project coordinator of Japan Foundation’s “Omnilogue: Journey to the West” at Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi in 2012, a research curator of Indian art for the Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale 2014, and coordinated to create a new video and painting installation of “The Returns of K.T.O.” by Japanese artist Tsuyoshi Ozawa for Yokohama Triennale 2017. Recent coordination is “Eiko Ishioka – Blood, Sweat , and Tears – A  Life of Design ” at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo.

Keizo Maeda

Graduated Tama Art University. After working in the Curatorial Department of Setagaya Art Museum, he worked on the planning and production of music and performing arts as well as record label management at Conversation & Company Co., Ltd. Since 2001, he has been involved in the management of the website and magazine realtokyo. At the World Expo held in Aichi Prefecture in 2005, he was in charge of numerous international projects. Associate Director of “Festival/Tokyo” 2011, Producer of “Aichi Triennale” 2013 Performing Arts Section, Director of Main Arena of “Roppongi Art Night” 2014, “International Art Festival Aichi 2022” Performing Arts Section Advisor. Since 2012, he has been involved in the planning and production of domestic and international performing arts as a staff member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, Tokyo Metropolitan Theater.

Mami Iida

Project Manager for Art Exhibitions. Graduate from Professional Master of Science and Technique of the Exhibition at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has gained several working experiences between France, Canada and Japan, particularly in the operation of a wide range of international contemporary art projects and festivals such as Montreal Biennale (2011), The Japan Media Arts Festival (2012), Aichi Triennale (2013), etc. She was in charge of exhibitions on behalf of ‘Maison de la culture du Japon’, The Japan Foundation’s platform in Paris (2014-2017). Working freelance since 2017, she is currently also active as an art journalist, contributing articles on exhibitions in France to such publications as The Asahi Shimbun (since 2011) and Bijutsu Techo (since 2017) among others.
